"God is Holy" - Isaiah 6 & 1 Peter 1:14-16
Digging Deeper:
- What is your first thought when you hear the word "holy"? Write down as many synonyms for the word as you can.
- Read Exodus 33. Think about the tent of meeting and the cloud of God's presence that appeared there. Write down your thoughts about holiness as it pertains to this Old Testament encounter. Notice that Moses mentored Joshua in holiness in this encounter.
- I don't know who said it first but I've heard a number of people say - "I looked for the Church and I found it in the world, and I looked for the world and I found it in the Church." Pray for your church and for the larger church to be a strong and holy before the Lord.
- Sit silently before the Lord. Listen for His voice to speak into your life. Is there anything that needs to be cleansed from your life as you listen to a Holy God? Confess it and walk in forgiveness.
