  1. Make the church a priority in your family schedule.

  4. Partner with Park Hill Student Ministry to develop your student's spiritual maturity.
  5. Monitor the group your student runs with.
  6. Monitor your student's media exposure (internet, cell phone, TV, video games, etc.).

  8. Come visit your student's small group on Sundays at 9:30 a.m.

How do I get my son/daughter involved with Park Hill Students?

There's not simply one answer, but here are several ways to go about it:

  • Introduce your child to one of the pastors, interns, or other leaders at a Sunday or Wednesday evening service. You can almost always find one of us in the Student Center.
  • Get your student involved in one of our Sunday morning small groups. These groups are age and gender divided. We offer both senior high and junior high groups at 9:30 a.m.
  • During the school year, bring your child to our Wednesday night worship experience. We typically have students from all our surrounding schools that come together for a time of worship through awesome music, dynamic teaching, and lot of other fun stuff.
  • Bring your child to one of our special events. Throughout the year we plan special events such as a Luau, Theme Nights, DiscipleNow, mission trips, and summer camps, just to name a few. Each of these provide a great entry point for Park Hill Students.

How do I, as a parent, get involved with Park Hill Students?

  • Simply pray for Park Hill Students on a regular basis. Although there are a lot of things going on at Park Hill, none of those things make any kind of significant difference without God's power. This may be the simplest way to get involved.
  • Participate with your student and his/her small group on a Sunday evening. This may be the single best way to get involved with your child.
  • On Wednesdays during the school year, you are invited to check out our Wednesday Night Worship. We often have opportunities for parents to serve there.

For more details on how to get involved in any of the areas mentioned above -- or others -- you can speak with Pastor John in person, by email, or phone (501-319-4602). We are serious about your teen's safety and security. Every adult volunteer is required to complete an Adult Volunteer Application, which includes a background check. We have lots of opportunities and would love to have you be a part of the team!
