Operation Christmas Child
It's that time again! It's time to start collecting items for your Operation Christmas Child shoe box. Park Hill's collection date is Sunday, November 20. This is a perfect teaching tool for children to learn about kids around the world that are excited to get simple items like crayons for Christmas. Now is the perfect time to get started. - Grab a shoe box and decorate it.
- Place it somewhere in the house where everyone can see it.
- Talk as a family about why you are packing a shoe box and what kind of items will fit.
- Set a budget for your shoe box.
- Each time you go to the store with your kids, make it a treasure hunt to find something that fits in a shoe box.
- One you fill one, start another!
