Romania MapDr. Eric Fraser, a local pediatrician and member of Park Hill, just returned from a medical mission trip to Romania.

Despite a harried travel schedule, complicated by missed connections and the Icelandic volcano eruptions, Fraser reports a very productive and meaningful experience. In an email to prayer partners, he writes, "This has been one of the best mission trips to Romania in terms of a team working together for God's glory, lack of visible opposition, and witnessing a growing active church in Tecuci."

Fraser reports that during the five clinic days last week, the medical team touched the lives of more than 700 people in the city of Tecuci and four villages. More than 500 individuals were seen by the two doctors and three dentists. Another 200 either received eyeglasses or instruction regarding proper stretching and rehabilitation for shoulder pain or lower back pain.

All those served received a presentation of the Gospel -- either one-on-one or in a group presentation. Fraser said that there were 176 professions of faith reported, "but only the Lord knows how many more were influenced by the Lord's love through our team."

The mission team wishes to express their gratitude for the 200 pairs of eyeglasses donated by Park Hill members. Fraser plans another trip to Romania in July.
